Dr. Mojtaba Taheri is a professional astronomer and award-winning astrophotographer with over 150 guided stargazing sessions across remote islands and desert landscapes.
His research includes work with the Thirty Meter Telescope and W. M. Keck Observatory. Through Celestial Atolls, he brings that scientific depth to guest evenings, astrophotography workshops and programme consulting, shaped around each property's setting and guests.

Where do you work?−
Worldwide by appointment. We plan around your location, seasons and guest demand, whether you are considering a guest evening, a workshop or support with an ongoing astronomy programme.
How are evenings timed?+
We plan around the season, the Moon and your guest schedule. Darker evenings favour deep-sky viewing; moonlit nights offer detailed lunar views. We choose the programme around what the sky offers on your dates.
What if the weather changes?+
We plan a suitable alternative with your team, such as an indoor planetarium-style session, astronomy talk or live sky-software demonstration. The programme and weather arrangements are agreed before arrival.
How many guests can join?+
Intimate groups, typically 8–15 per telescope, allow time for viewing and questions. Larger events can use multiple stations and hosts. We agree the format around your guests, setting and equipment.
Can you work with our existing equipment or programme?+
Yes. We can review your existing setup and discuss how guest experiences, workshops or consulting could build on it. Share the equipment and programme you currently offer when you enquire.
Can you train our staff?+
Yes. Training can cover telescope alignment, guest viewing, nightly preparation and basic equipment care, with a practical playbook for your team. We agree the training around your equipment and programme.
